Questions About Dog Training Services?

Here are some of our most commonly asked questions.  If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

This depends on many factors such as budget, the severity of behaviors, and your personal goals with your dog. If you want a really well-trained dog, then the longer programs will give you more practice in different locations with professional help. If your dog has severe reactivity, fear, or aggression, we recommend at least the 4 lesson Kalm Kanine Program. Please fill out an application and someone will contact you to recommend a program to meet your goals.

Because dogs all differ and long-term success of dog training heavily depends on the client’s follow through, we do not guarantee the longevity of training. We strive to provide quality dog training so please let us know if there is something to improve upon. We are happy to answer your questions.

For a group class environment, your dog must able to quiet down in a reasonable amount of time and be handled safely by the handler (you). If your dog has severe fear, reactivity towards dogs or humans, or you have a hard time controlling your dog, private lessons are the best option until your dog gains skills.

We offer a phone call from our highly trained administrative staff to discuss your dog, your training goals, and explain our training plans. If you would like to meet Kevin in person to see if he is a fit for you and your dog, Kanine Freedom offers a one-time 2-hour lesson for $250.

The Baby Kanine program is designed for clients with new puppies. It covers all the basics, as well as some behavior concerns over 6 lessons for a $900 (puppies under 9 months)

Yes, we do offer payment plans for the programs of 4 lessons and more. We ask for a minimum of 60% paid upfront and then the additional 40% paid at the halfway point of the program.

Yes. Your dog can stay at Four Paws Pet Ranch while Kevin trains your dog. Minimum time is three weeks. Please email for more information.

Thanks to Kevin Li, we have experienced a complete transformation in our dog Remy, and In ourselves.. Remy has learned all basic commands and how to just relax…those of you who have huskies know that this is a difficult task for them… Kevin’s level of expertise enhanced our understanding of our Pomskies behavior issues as well as our own weaknesses as a leader. I strongly recommend Kevin’s services for both owner novices as well as those of you who feel you are very knowledgeable, there is always room to improve…
